Richard Amable
Richard Amable´s interest in birds
and birdwatching began at the age of
nineteen while growing up in a field ranch near Puerto Maldonado, Peru. This
interest in birds led him to participate in projects such as the Tambopata
Macaw project at Tambopata Research Center, and the WWF project studying Macaws
using radio telemetry and tracking at Los Amigos Biological Station.
Richard has performed
volunteer field work for several studies involving parrot research and
conservation efforts in Peru and Bolivia, and is experienced in leading
educational bird trips in, highland, and Amazonian Peru.
Richard Amable has
assumed leadership positions as the manager and Guide - Instructor of Jacamar
Club – Peru, developing trips and courses focused on bird observation and
interactions for all age groups.
Joelson Teixeira grown up in
Matogroso do Sul – Brasil, in the region of Pantanal, since young age was
part of the cattle ranch activities working near his father.
On 2003 when
participate as a Nature Guide in the Refugio Caiman EcoHotel in the Pantanal region.
His experience in
nature and wildlife led him to work as a assistant Photography into the
research wildlife programs of EarthWatch instituted in the pantanal area.2006
All this experiences
based in Nature and wildlife Photography put him to work in Peru on 2007, as a
environmental interpreter guide for
Rainforest Expedition Company in the Tambopata National Reserve.
In 2010 Joelson Teixeira became to
be part of Jacamar Club Peru team, working as a Bird field Guide, training young student in to
Birdwatching and natural history.
Katherine Torres
Katherine ´s interest is based in nature and wildlife educational programs, she is speaker of French and English language , Katherine does general natural guiding in lowland Amazonia in Peru.
On 2007 Lower Madre
de Dios River, Katherine participated with ITA Association, in the INKATERRA
Canopy Walk Way bird check list Updated
With all the
experiences led her to work as a field
coordinator in Huascaran National Park
manage by SERNANP Instituted
On 2011, katherine work as a voluntary,
with the University of La Molina, Lima – PERU, participated in a Bird list inventory for Chanchamayo Province – Central Peru.
Katherine as well
assume the management of Jacamar Club – PERU team, working as a Bird field Guide, training young student in to
Birdwatching and natural history.
